Congratulations to the Dunwoody Cross Country Teams for outstanding performances at the Dekalb County JV Championships this past Thursday at Druid Hills Middle School. The Girls team finished first narrowly edging out Lakeside 30-41, and the Boys team finished runner up to Lakeside. In what many described as perfect racing conditions, Dunwoody, placed five in the top ten in the girl’s race. Congratulations to Megan J (3rd), Ashely A (4th), Claire P (6th), Ahna L (7th), and Lauren C (10th). Kate M and Lauren K finished 13th and 14th in the race. Also, thanks so much to our alternates Lydia F, Tanzania B, and Autumn T for being ready to go. The Boys team was led by Abner B (6th), Ben B (7th), and Carson B (10th) that finished in the top 10 – followed by Brain W (11th), Noah C (13th), Iain D (18th), and Conner R (34th). The Varsity teams will challenge the Druid Hills Middle School 3 mile course this Tuesday October 4th. The girls race at 5:15pm and the boys race at 5:45pm. The race roster was announced at practice this morning; and of those announced, seven will race on Tuesday night. Good Luck to the Wildcats in the Dekalb County Championship Race.

Tues Oct 4th: Varsity County Championships: Druid Hills Middle School (5:15 Girls ; 5:45 Boys). Bus leaves at 3:30pm from DHS. (7 race)
Wed Oct 5th: 3:30pm Practice
Thurs Oct 6th: 7:30am Practice
Fri Oct 7th: No Practice – Race Prep on your own
Sat Oct 8th: Alexander/Asics Invitational (Fox Hall Farms Sporting Club)
Bus will leave DHS at 6:00am; and we can race 17 runners.
