The weather forecast for Wednesday morning August 1st calls for possible storms in the area. We will still hold practice and move inside the building if needbe. However, if you feel it is unsafe to travel to the school area, please stay home. If conditions are such that we need to cancel practice, I will post here at 6:00am and send a remind.
New XC runners this season - it's time to order your uniform at the Store on this website! The uniforms are the same as last year, so returning runners do not need to place an order unless they need a new size or a replacement item
Uniforms include running shorts and a sleeveless singlet for both boys and girls. The singlet for girls is fitted as in previous years. All printing on both boys and girls uniforms will be the same.
Size guidelines are below. There are 2 opportunities to try on sample singlets. The first is at the DHS track Saturday, July 28 at 8 am. The XC Team will be helping out with the race, so it will be a great opportunity for new runners to meet the coaches and other runners and also try on uniform tops. The second is on Friday, Aug. 3 at the DHS track just before the 6:30 am practice. Due to the fitted shape and spandex material of the girls' singlet, girls may want to consider ordering a size larger than they normally wear.
Girls Singlet: Size Scale: XS(32-34) S(34-36) M(36-38) L(38-41) XL(41-43)
Girls Shorts: Size Scale: S(26-28) M(28-30) L(30-33) XL(33-35)
Boys Singlet: Size Scale: S(34-37) M(38-41) L(42-45) XL(46-49)
Boys Shorts: Size Scale: S(28-31) M(32-35) L(36-39) XL(40-44)
Please order shorts AND a singlet for each runner. The uniforms should be available by mid-August.
**** Very Important **** The initial ordering deadline is Tuesday, July 31 at 6 pm. You will get better pricing and receive your uniform prior to the first meet if your order by July 31 at 6 pm. After this deadline, pricing increases by $6 per item until ordering closes for good on Aug. 15. Any items ordered in this second round WILL NOT arrive in time for the first meet.

2. Upload your physical, concussion form, and proof of insurance to PRIVIT
3. Register your runner on the google form
4. Get ready for the first day of practice from 6:30am to 8:00am at the DHS Track.
Be sure to bring a full water bottle, and be ready to run!
DHS XC Team Dues can now be paid at the Store on this website! Dues are $125 for the first runner in your household, $100 for the second runner in your household, and $50 for the third runner in your household. If you have more than 3 runners in your household, you deserve a break and they will be free!
New this year is the option to "Fund a Runner" whereby you can help pay dues for runners needing financial assistance.
When paying your dues, please indicate the runner's name(s) and t-shirt size(s). This is for the team shirt that is included in your dues payment.
**** Important **** To ensure that you receive a team shirt, you must pay your dues by Sunday, August 5 at 5pm. The shirt order will be placed promptly after this deadline.
