Congratulations to the Wildcats on some outstanding performances this past weekend at the ATC Wingfoot Classic. Due to almost perfect racing conditions, a fast course, and a little tapering, the boys team flew through the course with many personal records. The girls team followed and burned through the course so quickly that they had to call the firetruck to put out the blaze! Thanks to all the runners for being flexible through multiple traffic jams to and from the meet. A special shout out to our captains for impersonating the coaches. It's comforting to know that if we ever go down, one of them can easily step in and fill our shoes! Results can be found at

There will be no practice on Friday morning September 28th. The team will also not practice during Fall Break October 4th-8th. But workouts will be handed out to runners for that time period.
If you were invited on the Overnight Trip, please be sure to complete the paperwork, confirm at practice, and pay the fee as soon as you can. If you know you cannot attend, please let a coach know, so we can invite the next runner on the list. We're excited to make the transition into Championship Season, and can't wait to race against some of the best teams in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida.
This week, we will focus on peaking for the Dekalb County Championships. This will include some fine tuning both mentally and physically before the races. The coaches will talk about racing strategy and focusing less on "time" and more on "place." Please talk with a coach if you have any questions or need additional information.
Go Wildcats!
