The Varsity girls started off the day with a strong 6th place finish (out of 37 teams) in a very competitive field. Two Wildcats, Ansley Heavern and Samantha Cameron, walked off with coveted 'Elite' T-shirts for their top 20 finishes, and they were helped by teammates Callie Dill and Chloe Thomas, who also had great races.
Then it was the boys turn to take on their tough challengers, a tough course, and challenging race conditions. The boys squad continued to gain some much needed race experience and some great performances, finishing 29th out of 40 teams. The boys were led by Jackson Watson, but were also helped by great performances from Sam Mahle, Brandon Shockley, and Brandon Gita. Great job by all racers on Saturday, and thanks to the many parents and fans who made the trek up to cheer on the Wildcats!
