All of the runners out on the course knew what was at stake and ran to the very best of their ability!
A huge congratulations to the Girls Varsity team who made it through to qualify for the state meet by placing 4th in a very competitive region! Claire Shelton led the way by securing 2nd place, followed by Bobbi Allen, Abby Reams, and Ronnie Amrani who finished all together! Our scoring team was rounded out by Jenna McJunkin, followed by Hannah Litvak and Hailey Cook who all made huge contributions to the 4th place finish. The coaches are so proud of these young women for the courage they showed yesterday. Girls, we'll see you at practice tomorrow!
The Varsity Boys came up just short by only 10 points away from the 4th place team. For such a young team, the step forward these young men have taken in the last year is remarkable. The coaches are very proud of the effort given and could not ask for more and there is so much to look forward to with this group of boys. Congratulations on a remarkable season, gentlemen, and we are so excited to see what you accomplish next year!
As always, we were impressed by our JV Girls squad who never quit on themselves and ran with some serious toughness! In a JV race that is as competitive as the one yesterday, it takes some serious strength, patience, and drive to compete every step of the way. And that is exactly what these ladies did in their race.
The JV boys put on a show with many huge PR's, 3 runners in the top 10, and a 2nd place finish. These boys finished their season with a bang and we are so proud of them!
Congratulations to the following for earning a top 20 finish in their respective races!
Claire Shelton - 2nd Varsity Girls Jared Katz - 4th JV Boys Cole Young - 12th JV Boys
Alex Loffredio - 13th Varsity Boys Ben Snead - 5th JV Boys Lucas Boden - 15th JV Boys
