What an awesome week! Yesterday, we had our first meet of the season in Jefferson at the North Georgia Championships! The sun was hot, and the course was tough, but our runners showed some tenacity and raced very well! Congratulations to everyone who competed! Here are the team results:
Championship Boys: 5th - 159 Points Varsity Boys: 26th - 643 Points
Championship Girls: 6th - 174 Points JV Boys: 10th - 294 Points
We had three runners compete in the JV Girls race who, while not receiving a team score, made DHS XC very proud for their efforts!

Practices this week will return to normal times. Monday & Friday 6:00-7:00am and Tuesday-Thursday 3:40-5:15pm
No races next week to prepare for the rest of the season. We have two hilly meets to look forward to the week after next. Only the top 12 from each team will be racing at the HCA Fall XC Invite. Here are the lineups:
